From Ceremony start to Reception end I’m looking at 4 hours…. but I’m also having a morning cermony & brunch reception so I’m not looking at partying down or anything like that.

Here is my Day of Timeline though so maybe it can help give you an idea….

5:30        Wake-Up

                Girls Meet at the House

                Nancy bring Starbucks

5:45        Prayer/Praise & Worship

6:15        On the Road to Edna

7:00        Arrive at Venue

                Hair/Make up

                Get Dressed

9:15        Party Pics

10:00     Ceremony Begins

                Bridal Party Entrance

                Bride Entrance

                Welcome & Prayer

                Wedding Message

                Exchange of Vows & Rings

                Worship song


                Blessing & Prayer of Couple

                Presentation of Couple


10:30     Receiving Line

10:45     Guest head to Reception

                Starters Available

                Bridal Party & Family Pictures


11:15     Emcee Introduce the Party & Bride & Groom

                First Dance

11:20     Welcome Speech

                Prayer over food

                Toasts – Starting with the Best Man

11:30     Brunch Served

12:00     Father-Daughter Dance

                Mother-Son Dance

                40- Minute power Dance set

12:40     The Cake Cutting

12:45     Staff plates & serves cupcakes

1:00        Guests are seated for cake/cupcakes

1:15        Bouquet Toss

                Garter Toss

1:20        Final Dance set begins

                Most Upbeat music plays now

1:55        The Last Dance

Our’s is 5 hours too…

7:00pm: Ceremony Begins

7:30 pm: Ceremony Ends, Cocktail Hour Begins
We will use this time to take formal photographs while our guests enjoy cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres. (not much time is needed here for formal pics((20 mins)). we aren’t having a wedding party and I don’t want many posed pics.

7:50 pm: Bride and Groom are announced and re-enter the reception area after formal pics. We’ll enjoy a couple cocktails and hor’dourves.

8 pm: Dinner…An announcement will be made that the buffet is open.

8:30 pm Welcome and Speeches During dinner. Hopefully all guests are seated and have started to dine (only 72 guests expected).

9:00 pm Dance floor is open (huge surprise for my now HUBBY and all my guests. hope I can pull it off!!!)

9:30 pm Cake Cutting and dessert. Champagne Toast will also happen here.

9:45 pm Garter toss and Bride and Groom shoe game while guests have cake and desserts

10 pm Dance floor is re-open

10:45 pm Last call at the bar (for the safety of my guests. no drinking and driving!!)

12 am Wedding ends…HONEYMOON STARTS (Tee hee)!!!!
