no, you’re not the only one, my wedding was 2 months ago and I regret not taking a picture with my mom, dad, and sisters together. Wish I would had more pictures of  my grandparents..and timing of reception. Should’ve been from 7pm to 12pm instead of 6pm to 11pm. But most all regret not taking pictures with my very very closed ones.

I haven’t been married yet but I feel like it’s probably normal to experiance this when you spend possible a year + of your life trying to organize everything to a T… After being so wrapped up in details for so long, of course you’ll look back and notice the little things that went “wrong”… especially when it’s such a “once in a lifetime” thing.

The important thing is to look at it with some perspecitive. I’m sure over the course of your life you’ve been through some tough and terrible things. Years later, those things fade. Your wedding wasn’t anywhere near to being terrible by the sounds of it, so it’s sure to fade as well. It just takes some time to seperate yourself from it to the point that you can think of it as a memory and not something that is a current issue.

And regretting not having your mother in your wedding day photos can just serve as a reminder to really appreciate the ones you’ve got, and to remember to take more lovely ones at every oppurtunity!

@AllShookUp:  I was so busy and it went by so fast. Took many pics, which at the moment thought I took one with everyone, lost track. I wish I had given my photographer a list of must take pics.

It’s a shame you have regrets particularly about the photos. Could you potentially book a session with your photographeI soon, with all your family and have an informal session instead. You might be more relaxed and you might have more time to get the shots with everyone you want.

Just curious, why do you regret having 3 bridesmaids?

Best wishes xx
