- Wedding: August 2011
We have 102 people coming to our wedding in a couple of weeks and we are trying to figure out the proportions for desserts! help!!
We currently have:
~50-75 pieces of vanilla cake with lemon jam icing (yum)
~50-75 pieces of chocolate truffle cake to be served as the same time as the vanilla cake
Do these numbers sound ok for the cake???
We also want to order at least 2, or possibly all 4 of the following, which will be available immediately after dinner:
chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodles, blonde brownies, chocolate brownies
We were thinking 4 dozen of each, but I don’t know if that is too few (or too many?)–this is probably what we will have out for the remaining 2-3 hours of the reception. We will also have lots of wine, coffee, etc with our DJ for the after dinner crowd, and I keep thinking about how my family loves to sit around and talk over coffee cake (which we will not have). Thoughts?
