So my wedding colors are pink and grey. Bridesmaids are wearing light pink dresses.. Groom is going to be in light grey. Groomsmen in charcoal grey.
I went shopping for my dress and fell in love with a dress… it is ivory and champange. I am freaking out now because the color grey is more a silver tone.. and my dress is now goldish!!
Above is a picture of my dress…
I need lots of help at this point. Everything I had in mind is now confused. Do I just leave it like it is with everything grey and silver and me be in this dress? Should I change the guys tuxs to a tan and go more gold decor? Do I try to use both grey and silver?
HELP HELP HELP!!
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Leave everything the way you planned it! I had the reverse dilemna (dress had silver in it, colors were blue and gold). I ended up just going with it, and I was really happy with how it turned out. Here’s a close up of me and the bridesmaids so you can see the switch in the tones!

You’re fine as is, love. Gray and gold and pink all look marvelous together! Our colors were shades of purple (eggplant-lavender), charcoal grey, ivory and gold, and everything looked great. I would bring gold metallic accessories into your palette in little ways — bridesmaid accessories and the like. That way you won’t be the only gold element…but it’s not a huge deal either way. 🙂

i think it will look fine as is. If the bridesmaids dresses arn’t ordered yet maybe consider a change in pallets?

You’re fine!! I think the dress will look great with the stuff you’ve already picked out. Grey and gold can definately go together. So can silver and gold for that matter! Don’t stress and congrats on finding your dress!

Hmm…maybe it’s just the picture quality…but I’m not really seeing the gold in that dress. Looks more like taupe to me. I think you should stick with your original plan!
