Does (or did) anyone find that wedding dj pricing in the Chicagoland area is ridiculous? Fiance and I are looking to stay under 1000 (more like 850 or so) for DJs and so far we have only found 2 that meet that price point.
Any tips/reviews? 🙂

Kristen from Toast & Jam was well worth the money we paid. Well worth it! I always say that the best weddings have great food and an even better dj. They make the party!
I have not attended a party with him yet but a friend of ours started a dj company in the last year and he is posting pics of his reviews on FB. The reviews are always positive, of course, but since they are new their pricing will be better. His name is Mickey and he is with A-List DJs. I know they throw an event once a week or month to showcase their talents. Sorry I don’t have more details! MSG me if you need more info and let me know how that turns out!

@bellaluna290: We booked Dependable Wedding DJs for our wedding in May. I’ve seen nothing but good reviews for them and they’ve won awards from The Knot and Wedding Wire. Our DJ (Johnny) was very friendly during our consultation. Their prices are excellent also.
