I wanted to, but they don’t do late releases because the birds have to have time to fly back before it’s dark. The cutoff for the one in my area was 4, and my wedding was scheduled to begin at 6. I wasn’t going to change all my invites and stuff!

Maybe not everyone has a time restriction, I’m not sure. I thought about butterflies, since it looked like they were about the same price, but then if it was raining outside or something, I wouldn’t have been able to release them (but I would have been given a refund for the doves incase of bad weather), so I would have been stuck with butterflies! plus, I figured I’d need quite a bit if I wanted to make a big showy display for the photographer.
