I have had a few, and they always are about not being prepared.

In the last one, it was the wedding day, and I was wondering if I ever actually confimed our caterer.  In other dreams, I have not sent out invitations, forgotten to make hair appointments, forgot to get my dress altered, etc.

my dreams have also all been about not being prepared!  Not having proper undergarments, not having centerpieces or flowers, dress is unaltered, not showing up to the right place…they’re all awful and I wake up horrified!

I don’t really remember the details but one dream I actually forgot about my wedding. I think it was the next day and everyone was asking what I did the day before and then I remembered that I forgot my wedding.

I’ve been having a few of those types of dreams where I forget some important event. and everytime I wake I have to remember what day it is. It’s very confusing.

I KNEW this had to be a thread already.  I’ve just started having them. I had one last week where everything was going wrong, none of my vendors showed up, but all my guests did.  And then I realized I gave all my vendors the wrong date and they were all going to show up the following week??! Weird.

But last night was scary.  My Maid/Matron of Honor and I were getting ready together the day of the wedding and she was helping me with my hair and then I realized she was dying my hair!!  A dull dingy, reddish color with bright gold strands woven in?!  WTH? I was so mad at her and she genuinely loved it.  It was awful.  Lol.  I can’t wait to share that dream with her this weekend…..

I had a really weird dream that I hadn’t been able to afford my dress, and made some weird deal to get it, only to have it taken away right before my wedding. It was awful! Thank goodness it’s hanging in my parents’ closet.

In at least one of mine, I dreamt about paying everyone – The DJ, the caterer, etc.  I think my subconscious doesn’t want to part with my hard earned money any more than my conscious self does!!!  LOL.

I’ve been having wedding dreams a lot lately.  I knew it would happen.  They’re pretty horrible.  In all of them, things aren’t done when they’re supposed to be, I’ve forgetten everything I need (seriously, like how could I forget my dress? *knocks on wood*).  I wake up like “OMFG, not cool subconsious!”

LOVE this post – I’m glad I’m not the only one, and of course Fiance doesn’t have them.

The one I remember most – is that the hair/makeup team that’s styling me and my bridal party is a little bit late, and my party is already dressed and did their own makeup and hair and I am not happy with it, plus already having paid for it, I want them to get it done.

I have to send someone to go find the girls to come get touched up, and the messengers never come back to tell me if they found them, and then the girls come back and bring the photographer, and he puts the lens on my face so hard that he bruises my cheek.

Just weird things like that – and most of them are regarding no one listening because I’m not assertive enough.  I worry about that in my conscious state too – I don’t want ask anyone for help, or seem bossy in the least so I have to ask my Fiance to do it, cause it’s mostly his family that is helping.

P.S. I’m NOT bridezilla by any definition and would love to do it all myself, but I know that’s not realistic so I have to ask for help – just a little stubborn.

I have dreams about an ex boyfriend.  It’s always the same guy.  Apparently this is very normal.  In my dreams at the end I always have to shoo him away because I don’t want my Fiance to know that I was talking to him (in my dream) and for my Fiance to think I was cheating on him (which I wasn’t doing even in my dream).  It’s weird though.  Same dream over and over again.

I haven’t had any unprepared for the wedding dreams, but my cousin who just got married had constant dreams about not being ready for the wedding… her dress disappeared, she had horrible matted, sweaty bed hair, no makeup and had to walk down the aisle like that.

@Mrs. Louboutin I have dreams about ex’s too.  As if I am with the guy in my dream, but something about it doesn’t feel right and I can’t get rid of him either!

I haven’t had wedding dreams yet, knowing how I dream, it will be week of only.  But since we got engaged I’ve been dreaming about ex’s.  Every dream has been about the same though, I’ve been with an ex and by the end of the dream my Fiance comes in and I’m happy again.  When I first started having these dreams I wondered why I was dreaming about my ex’s, but then I realized that these were good dreams that were telling me I’m happier now that I’m with my Fiance.

I had one where it seemed like everyone was ignoring me, and everything was going wrong. And another where Fiance sat down in the middle of our ceremony to eat a sandwhich. Just the 2 so far! lol.
