I just got my wedding dress (Maggie Sottero Dallas Marie) but I am just not sure about the sash. Should I take it off completely? Lower the bow so it is evenly across the ribs? Have the crystal sash pictured below? I just don’t know and would like your opinions!

I like how the sash looks in your picture – pretty dress!

I had that exact same dress! I had the ribbon changed to be even with the non-bow side, but I think it looks great either way.

I think you should ditch it completely. Such a great dress though!

I would lower the bow a smidge, but I like the sash best!

I love the crystal sash, but I think that it’s because I like a little bling on dresses. I think the sash looks good too, though…

I think you should get rid of it completely. I think there’s a lot going on with the ruching, so you don’t really need any sash. But if you want something, I would go with the crystal sash.

no ribbon sash! I’m not sure about the crystal sash – better, but i’d have to see it with the ruching

Hmm if you do choose to go for a sash at all, I would choose the crystal one personally. However, I love the rouching on the dress and think that it would look fabulous with no sash at all as well! 🙂

Thanks for all the opinions!

Hmm, guess I’m alone here but I love that dress and I think the ribbon bow is the main focal point of the dress. It is sophisticated and romantic.
That being said, it is most important that you are happy and the dress feels like magic, so do your thing! and be happy!

Is the bow in the right place in the picture? It kind of looks like it’s hanging off your tatas in the pic 🙂 I would lower it so that it’s even with the rest like september912 did.
