@MrsInLove:  You should start looking now actually because some dresses take a couple of months to come in once you’ve ordered.

@MrsInLove:  We are date twins and I ordered mine back in June! No one looked at me funny!

@MrsInLove:  No problem! Bridal shops will definitely not be looking at you funny, don’t worry. This is the perfect time to start looking at dresses. Think about it this way … You start to look now, maybe order a dress in 2 months or so maybe even three. Then your dress may take 4 months to come in. Once it comes in you can have your first fitting and so on.

I’m sure bridal shops have had brides come in a lot sooner than you 🙂

I think once any bride reaches the one year mark until the wedding it’s definitely not too early to look at all. Dresses take anywhere from 5-8 months to come in depending on the designer. You can definitely get them in by 4 months, and earlier if you do a rush, but why wait anyway since you do have the time?

Looks like you’ve gotten your answer, but have a great time dress shopping! 🙂
