    Buy it now! It’s so much easier to alter down than it is to alter up. And if you find a good independent seamstress (i.e. don’t take it at a bridal salon), you won’t be sticker-shocked at the cost of alterations. My positive experience with a seamstress is that I was just given a quote of $80 to take in the bodice (once my weight is shed), pull in the bust, chop off the train, make the Aline gown a tea-length, add a layer of color to the crinoline, AND fix the pulls and missing beads (my dress was a waaaay discounted off-the-rack sample too).
