If you’re not used to going strapless, adding a strap might give you more comfort and confidence all day long. That’s a pretty good reason to do it, in my book. Who cares why anyone *thinks* you are adding a strap?

I am now considering straps but only because I read that if you dance around a lot straps help hold the dress up instead of constantly pulling the dress up.

bridegirl007:  I think I understand you! My mom is pressing me into having sleeves because of modesty and some silly supersticion someone once told her. I am really MAD for being pushed into something like that, except that NOW I realy do like sleeves but dont want to be seen as I am giving in to the pressure…. what to do?

I think I will go with sleeves because ultimately this is what I like, rather than doing something IN SPITE OF.

If you think the straps would make you comphy then go for them? Or have removable ones so you can have the best of both worlds? For me I cant go strapless, cos I feel so paraoid about having to hike up the dress, but just answer yourself what YOU would do if noone was there to advise? ( I would totally go with sleeves, lol)
