I plan on ordering mine online too, the most consistantly positive reviews from here are for Jasmine’s Bridal (higher price point but better quality) and Dressilyme (lower price point, decent copies). You can do a search for China dresses, and these two sites on here to read the reviews and see pictures of the dresses people have had made.

Ordering online is a little vague.  Do you mean you want to order a replica or are you thinking of buying a sample or preowned gown?

@StephieP:  To be honest ordering online is a little risky.  One of the main reasons is because the dress sizes are not true to size.  For example:  I wear a 16 and my dress was ordered in a size 20, my Maid/Matron of Honor wears a 12 her dress was ordered in a size 16 and so one for the rest of them My suggestion would be to have a tailor measure you. that way you give the correct measurements.  Remember you can always take in but you can’t take out. Good Luck

I decided last night I am going to buy my dress online at Dressilyme. They have a facebook page too. Read alot of good reveiws so I feel confident. Like you my budget doesn’t allow much wiggle room and is small, and was making so sad.

It looks like an awesome site. If you want to know more, search the site for online dresses, you’ll find LOTS of threads and pictures! That was the selling point for me.

I ordered my dress online- dressmart.com. I was prepared for the gamble I was taking and ready to be less than surprised if the dress I received was made of paper or just something awful and disappointing. I was shocked though, it was great quality (Organza) and just perfect in every way. It was also only $180. Fiance was super stoked about that part. So it’s a risk, yes, but you can still have a positive outcome!
