you don’t have to do your first fitting as soon as the dress comes in. wait a month or so.

Mine will hold them right up till the wedding with no charge.  I even moved my wedding back a year and one of the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and one of my dresses is still there.  They call every once in a while to let me know the dress is fine, so nice of them.

My dress came in WAY early. They told me 6-9 months it came in under 4. They would not hold my dress so I had to take it. I made my first appointment for my dress fitting and I found out the alterations lady would have held it for me. You don’t have to call and schedule a fitting but you may have to take it from the store.

My dress came in too early too! And I wasnt exactly thrilled either.. but it took  me a while to even get to see the dress because I had to reschedule a few times cos of the bad weather. But I’m happy it came early now cos once i tried it on it was perfect and I could finally stop worryin about it possibly being too short. My bridal store is keeping my gown for me until I’m ready to pick it up. I;m having my alterations done at the same place so i wont be picking it up until right before the wedding.

Mine came in early but they didn’t even let me know. I had my first fitting about  a month before the wedding. They kept it in proper storage for me 🙂

Check with them for sure. My dress came in January and they told me I should come in for a fitting in July.

Only way to know for sure is to call the store.

Mine came in in 2 WEEKS!!! I was not happy about that, considering my wedding is in november. I scheduled my appt. for march, which gives me another month before I go try it on. RK Bridal will store my dress after my fitting and thru alterations up till the last fitting a week before the wedding.  I understand wanting to be thinner before you go try it on, but my understanding is, that you are just going in to give approval.  Make sure it is perfect and not a totally off size.  The alterations will make it fit and you have lots of time before than.
