So, I bought my dress a few months ago, for my July wedding. I bought it at Nordstrom, rather than the Nicole Miller store (the designer) because Nordstroms returns EVERYTHING. Well, good thing, now I am getting cold feet about my dress.. Please help me decide if this is my dress, or if I should go hunt for another…
Obviously it won’t be wrinkley on the wedding day!

Personally, I like it on you. What aren’t you liking about your dress?

I think if you share what exactly you are having second thoughts about we can better help.
(though good idea buying a dress somewhere that accepts returns no problem-its a safe just in case way to go)

Ignoring the wrinkles, I don’t like the fit on you or the way it pulls around your hips and stomach. You have a great figure, and clean and modern would look fantastic on you, I’m just not getting the “wow” factor at first impression, honestly.

I guess I just feel it is not “wedding” enough.. Doesn’t really have a train, and is pretty basic. In this picture the rouching isn’t really laying where it should be..
But I am not really a “frills” kind of girl.
I originally loved the dress, now I am just feeling I should get a more typical wedding dress.

@KatyElle:I totally agree.
I don’t think you need to get a more “typical” gown especially if you are a no frills type of person. But I do think you can find something that is more wow without the frills.

@ccgorman1: If you don’t feel right in it, then you should search for another one. But don’t feel like you should get a traditional dress just because that is what is expected of you.
