The dress is lovely but is this a bridal gown? If so, sadly it doesnt look very bridal to me. I know you said everyone was crying but if you are having second thoughts then keep looking.

It’s beautiful – I tried that dress on and it definitely didn’t look as good on me as it does on you. Keep in mind it’s not altered yet, too.

For sure you got it right. You have the body for it. Looks incredible.

It looks gorgeous on you! But YOU are the one who needs to feel like the beautiful bride you imagined you would be. But, from an outsider’s opinion, I love the dress! 🙂 I think you look great!

It’s so beautiful!! I think it just needs a hem and you’re good to go.

I think it is pretty. But as I just mentioned to another poster.  The perfect dress for you will always make you feel like it is the perfect dress for you.

You should glow in your wedding dress. No matter what you choose to wear your family will love it because of how happy you will be in your dress.

I was literally about to make a very similar post about my dress but I wanted to read this one first – and it’s the same dress!! I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t reading my own post and forgot that I made one. Also it looks GOEGEOUS on you! But I completely understand your concerns because I’m in the same boat.

soontobe101 :  it’s natural to feel like you may have chosen too soon because there are literally millions of choices! We make a habit of going over all of the possibilities, which is tough enough when it comes to the cereal aisle let alone a wedding dress. Your dress is gorgeous, and you are killing it just in that picture. Just imagine how much better you’re going to look with the alterations and the makeup and the shoes and the groom!

I tried on a whole bunch of dresses and ended up going back and buying the very first one. My cousin did the same. It’s not always necessary to try a hundred dresses on! There are millions of beautiful dresses in the world, you can’t try or wear all of them. You just have to stop when you find a good one, and you have!

soontobe101 :  The dresses you tried on, were they different styles  or all similar?

Ive read in an article that the recommendation is to try on 7-8 dresses of different styles so you get a good idea of what looks good and what doesn’t but don’t try on too many as you’ll just get confused with too many dresses. After all many dresses will look good. I think 6 dresses is a good amount if they were not all the same style.

I tried on 6 dresses the first visit, and tried on another 4-5 on the second visit plus 2 favourites from the first visit, and decided on my dress which I liked the first time round. If one dress jumped out at you, trying on other dresses were really just confirming that that dress is the one.
