Hey ladies I’m having a issue with wedding dress shopping. I went to go try on dresses at David’s Bridal but but none of them made me go woooow. But the ones that did were not in my price range, here is the dilemma as I search online for dresses and fall in love with them do I dare buy one online and be in my price range or do I break the bank for just one day HELP!!!

That’s tough, but you have TIME girl!! Lots of it! So keep trying on dresses. If you fall in love with one that might break the bank, check out all the preowned dress sites. You might see if pop up on there & save yourself a few bucks.

@MsAmandaAnn: great advice. OP, I live 10 minutes from Edison and there are plenty of options aside from David’s Bridal. I think there is a place in the city that has donated dresses also.

@Msmarie31: I can’t directly answer your question, but just a comment: many of the cheap online dresses are imitations made in China. Check the website to see where it’s located. I’ve seen hugely varying feedback on them, from “Couldn’t tell the difference from the real thing” to “Terrible quality and wrong size”. Either way, if it’s an overseas retailer you’ve got no consumer protection, so only buy from them if you’re willing to take a chance.
