My dream dress was a long sleeve wedding gown, especially since we are having a January wedding and it’ll be cold. What I ended up buying was a strapless dress because it was the one! But now that I am thinking about it all again i REALLY wish I got a long sleeve dress. I was reading online that long sleeves are easy to add to a dress and then I can have them removable so during the reception I can wear it strapless. It would be the best of both worlds. So now I have a few questions!
Has anyone ever added long sleeves to their dress?
I got the mori lee 2609 and I am trying SO hard to imagine it with long sleeves but I am having a hard time. The last thing I want to do is regret adding them but I guess I can just take them off at that point and not wear them?
I just don’t know what to do! This is the weirdest form of dress regret! Any advice??!!

Am I right in assuming you don’t want to just wear a long sleeved bolero? That would be by far the easiest option!
Otherwise, I would really make sure you want the sleeves, even just wearing a shirt with sleeves underneath to get an idea of what your dress would look like with them would be helpful. Keep in mind that if you go from a strapless dress to one with any kind of sleeves, you will have to create a new neckline. All that being said- i think that dress would look AMAZING with sleeves 🙂

Would a bolero work for you? Might be easier

I seriously don’t know why I didnt think of this on my own. That is a good idea, I feel so dumb for freaking out and thinking I got the wrong dress haha. I love my dress and a bolero might just do the trick! Now if I can find one that looks good with my dress…..
