I’m going to be real with you here. You not having someoneto pull it  back as hard as they can doesn’t change how far it is from fitting you. You still have time to find something, you should listen to reason and start shopping.

I agree with the other bees.

youre dress is beautiful and fits your theme perfectly, however trying to alter it to fit you at this point is going to add so much additional stress onto the wedding planning process.

why not start looking for something else?

Any word on whether the dress was able to be altered?  I didn’t see any chance of it happening AND still have the dress look good.  It’s such a pretty dress but it doesn’t fit at all.

Seeing that your wedding is in October, that honestly doesn’t give much time for weight loss. If you are are super set on this dress, then I’d recommend doing something like Whole 30 and see where you are in a month. If you are somehow unable to lose enough weight for the dress to fit, it’d be really hard to buy something off the rack depending on what size you are… in my experience most sample sizes are 12-16.

Well I hope you are right OP. The pics show a dress that is so much  too small that  I can’t ever imagine it being made to fit.  I don’t think even the widest  corset back would  fix the waist ….

I agree though,  with  pps who say that it is so beautiful I think you wil easily be  able to sell it.

Lol I feel so bad for anyone who posts on this site. These bitches are ruthless. I love your dress and hope you took it to a PROFESSIONAL and they were able to help you! Would love to see the final product if so!

Editing this because as usual I didn’t realize that your post was actually from two months ago! Did you manage to get it all sorted out then? X

Oh bee, that dress is beautiful! But the gap in the back might be too big to fix. I recently had a chat with my alterations lady about extra allowances on my dress and tbh, I have about as much boning in my bodice as yours and she told me flat out that there was barely anything left to let out.

Also, given that your wedding is in October, it means you only really have two and not three months to lose the weight before taking your dress to alterations since they’ll need at least four weeks I imagine, to get at least one fitting in before your final fitting?

Have you considered listing your dress for sale asap and looking for alternatives on preownedweddingdresses or oncewed?

How did you get it to fit? Did you corset it or did you lose weighf? Any pictures of the back? It’s so gorgeous, the skirt especially is so flowy and you guys make such a gorgeous couple
