I slightly prefer the first one, they are both so similar!

Is that your bra that I can see in photo #1? I do prefer #1, assuming that’s your bra. However, if its scalloped lace around the bustline that may change my mind. Both are beautiful though.

I prefer the 2nd it makes you look curvier and the bottom seems to flow better – but I can’t give specifics to why I think that it just looks flowier to me 🙂

I think you look stunning in both dresses, and I doubt that 3 inches will change that.

@Mzshata: I do not think it will make a difference.  I am 5’3 and purchased San Patrick Rivoli and I don’t think it makes me look any shorter 🙂 I wonder if we are able to raise the hem instead of cuttting some of the bottom???

I like them both a lot and definitely don’t think 5’2 is too short for a mermaid, but it may depend on the type of mermaid dress.  I’m trying to picture your dress with 3 inches off the bottom and can’t quite picture if it’s going to balance correctly.   Are you wearing crinoline underneath the dress?  I think if it was slightly less poofy on the bottom, it would look lovely and proportional – but that is just my opinion and take it with a grain of salt!   The shape of the dresses both look lovely on your figure so I’m sure whatever you end up doing in the end will look great!
