Have you tried on Monique Lhuillier’s gown “Candy?” It does wonders for anyone’s figure and always creats a nice shape. People without waists, tall people, short people, curvy people. It’s a modified A-line. So not a trumpet, not an A. You get the princess feel with the soft tool and the light beadwork. It comes in blush and ivory. I’d go try it if I were you πŸ˜€

@CourtneyB:  Those are pretty dresses especially the colored one!

Now OP another question! Are you willing to go for a colored dress or do you want white?

They are lucky in the US. I’m from England and we pay way more for our dresses too and we can’t take pics either. Chant something about copyright blah blah blah. Good luck Laughing

Welcome! While I have no advice about any specific dress styles you should go for, I applaud you for being true to yourself and wearing what you want on your wedding day. πŸ™‚

I don’t think I can do any better than some of the previous posters but I’d like to nth the request for recaps/dress pictures when you get them, after some of this inspiration I feel like I’m in suspense to see what you end up choosing, OP!

Hiya and congratulations! Just wanted to recommend a website to you – Tidebuy.com. It’s in China and I have personally ordered made to measure dresses for my own (5) bridesmaids from them.  One of my bridesmaids was in a wedding where both her dress and the brides gown came from this website so im talking from experience (and don’t work for the company I assure you!).

I was nervous too, like you’ve said, but i ordered a dress for myself first to see how the fit and fabric would come back and it is gorgeous. The boning in the bodice is amazing and the dress is just gorgeous. I can tell you honestly that i was very uncertain about ordering online but the prices are just brilliant (even in $AUD) and the delivery is 4wks so you still have plenty of time to get your gown made. It’s worth having a look…

Good luck and I’m sure you’ll look gorgeous on the day x
