I just got married in Mexico wearing Mikaella 1406. The dress fit our venue and wasn’t too hot, but I am very glad that I brought a reception dress because more than a couple of hours in a full gown in that heat would have killed me! If you’re getting a gown that you want to wear the whole time than make sure it’s something that doesn’t have too many layers!! Good luck dress shopping 🙂 That was my favourite part.

My parents really wanted me to have a long dress.  I was petrified getting married in the Carribbean in May.  When I tried on dresses, I would start sweating in the store.  I was like how am I going to handle outside?!?

My one requirement was not too many layers.  The only reason I tried on the dress I ended up buying was because it met this requirement.  I went with the August Jones Lia.  Good luck dress shopping!
