Please help!!! I can’t decide between two dresses. The first one is Bliss by Monique Lhuillier. Cost: $2850 (within budget!). The second dress is by Ulla Maija. Cost: $5000 (wayyy over budget). I LOVE the second one, but not sure if it’s worth all the money.

@tvv203: Your poll is not working! I would vote for the second dress though, it really shows off your figure and flatters you. I like the neckline on it too.
ETA: Just noticed the price difference. If it were me, I would stay within budget and choose the first dress or look for another dress. The first one is still similar and looks great on you. I personally would not go way over budget, unless you can truly afford it. In My Humble Opinion, you can find lots of other things to spend $5,000 on, especially since you will only be wearing your dress once.

You will probably have major guilt and dress regret if you let yourself go that much over budget. It’s a beautiful dress, but so is the one that is within budget. And I loveeee Monique Lhuillier. Can’t go wrong there!

Im on my phone and scrolled kinda quickly and totally thought you posted the same photo twice! They are soooo similar (and look amazing on you!!), id definitely get the cheaper one. No need to go over budget! Like pps said- you have other things to spend that extra money on

I voted for dress 2…but then I saw the price difference *gulp*
Dress 2 is nicer but not $2150 nicer!

They both look so similar, what is it about the 2nd dress that makes you love it so much more?? They both look imaculate on you so whichever you choose will look lovely! Personally I love love the first, though im a sucker for lace

@tvv203:
Those dresses look exactly alike. I thought it was 2 pics of the same dress. Get the cheaper one!

They both look beautiful but I actually like #1 a little better. I think it looks more romantic! Plus, I agree you can save the money on the dress and use it toward something else!

The cheaper one FOR SURE! They look almost the same, and there is very little that is worth two grand when it comes to clothing, for me anyway.

I agree with PP…. they look almost exactly alike to the point I thought you accidently posted the same dress twice lol.
On closer inspection I like the 1st one better anyway… the way it lays and the lace at the bottom are just prettier on the 1st.
With that price difference I’d definitely get the 1st one.

Dress #1. You can have the seamstress alter the neckline so it’s cleaner (cut the lace) and deeper like the 2nd dress.

For the price difference, a few minor alterations to the first could make it look just like the second and still be cheaper. The second fits you better in these pics, but there’s no reason the first can’t fit that way when it’s in your proper size and altered. Just snipping off the extra lacy bits around the neckline would totally change it, and it can’t be too hard to find a new belt that looks like the one on the second dress.

Honestly, I think they look almost exactly the same, with the exception of the belt. That being said, I would go for dress #1. They are SO similar that if the big difference is the price, I always opt for the less expensive.
