I like the first one too. I think it’s more flattering than the second.. you don’t look top-heavy at all to me. I do like the top sleeve part on the second one (I hope that makes sense bc I have no knowledge of dresses or what to call things!), and I scrolled back and forth a bunch of times to see if there’d be anyway to add that element to the first dress, but I don’t think there is. Long story short.. I like the first better!

Both of those dresses are stunning, I’m not a fan of strapless dresses but I have to say I would pick the strapless one.

mrscee2bee : not a fan of strapless either in fact was an absolute no no until I tried this one. I think the ever so slight curve on top of the bodice somehow makes it flattering. Just worried it makes my shoulder and arms look fat.

The second one is way more flattering on you. I really don’t think the first one does much for your figure, especially with that skirt (which kinda looks tablecloth-y to me)

First one! Both are pretty, but the second one seems like it would close off your face a bit more.

Parkerkeys : The second one seems more flattering in the arm and shoulder area.
Perhaps the first dress would look better once altered – but it seems (to my eye) that it pushes up your skin a bit. I think if the bodice fit a bit lower it would be fine.

I like the first one… It does not make you look top heavy.

First one hands down. It’s very flattering on you. The second one looks kind of boxy to me.

For me it’s the second by a mile. I love the off the shoulder look and I actually think it is way more flattering than the first. There is something off about the size/shape of the skirt on the first to me, like it just seems incredibly wide.

Love them both but I would go with the first one. It’s utterly perfect.

I like the first one, though I’d talk to alterations about making it more of a sweetheart neckline. The second one it pretty but it looks a little matronly.

#1, definitely more modern and youthful!

I like the first one. The second one with the off-the-shoulder part looks a bit more dated to me.
