Help!! I’m having so much trouble making my final decision on my dress. I have a top three, and I just love them all so much.
A little about me: I wanted something simple but unique at the same time. I LOVE the look of a longish chapel train. I also LOVE a lace edged veil. I like the classic, simple, and vintage vibe. Lace is a must.
Here are my dresses:
1. Modern Trousseau’s Kendra dress.
pros: absolutely gorgeous, fits me well. lace is gorgeous and unique. I love adding the sash with the delicate flowers. made in america – love that!
cons: its really expensive!! about $4000. I tried looking for a used one but I’m really tall, especially with heels, so none are quite long enough.
2. Watter’s Torreon dress.
pros: so unique, so ornate but not TOO busy. gorgeous and has everything that I wanted in a dress.
cons: I would have to add a simple sash around my stomach or consider making the stomach area lace throughout to hide imperfections around my hips. while i’m pretty skinny, my hips are uneven because of scoliosis. people say they dont notice it but I DO. Also, I dont think I would be able to get away with a lace edged veil, because it may make it too busy. ALSO – I would want to sweetheart the neckline.
3. Watter’s Pasadena dress.
pros: its similar to the Kendra dress, but almost half the price.
cons: its not the Kendra dress.
We are going to a trunk show tomorrow to see if we can get the Kendra dress a wee bit cheaper. After that my mom says that I MUST DECIDE.
(i dont have a pic of me in the Kendra…go figure. but you get the idea with the pasadena)
Kendra is below
Torreon and me IN Torreon are below. Excuse my gross appearance, it was pouring today. Also, i was standing weird, my hips arent THAT uneven!
and finally the Pasadena:
