Yeah I know; I did think about it but there was only 8 minutes left to go before the sale ended and my internet is so slow! Oh well…

Hey all, there was another thread on this same Groupon, so apologies for the cross post:
I spoke on the phone with both Kirstie Kelly (KK) and Groupon CS. KK has a special 50% off offer on their web site and says that the offer is a result of the Groupon, as it’s impacting their business and they want to ensure that brides get authentic KK gowns. Also, they only do direct to consumer sales – their distribution partnerships ended years ago, so these gowns are either fake or old. They used to sell these same gowns through Costco and other retailers, years ago.
Groupon CS says their Goods team is responsible for signing up the merchants and for verifying authenticity, but they have no way to verify that the Goods team verified authenticity. I may end up returning my “KK” gown when it comes in, because I don’t want to hurt small businesses.

@allyfally: @Jamieg: Kirstie Kelly was the first one to design Disney Princess dresses before Alfred Angelo did. She’s a smaller label, but she is known.
