I saw another post from a 30-something wondering if her dress was too “young.” I will be 36 when I get married and was am concerned about that as well. I love the dress below, but am needing advice as to whether or not it’s “age appropriate.” I hate that word! 🙂

I don’t think so. I think it’s all about how you feel in it.

36 is young! I was almost 35 when I got married and wore not one but two princess dresses. Your dress will be perfect. Look at all the actresses in their 30’s and 40’s that are still considered hot and the dresses they wear. You don’t have to look matronly just because you’re not in your 20’s anymore.

Beautiful! I got married at 47 and I would have worn it. 🙂

Go for it! You’ll look lovely!

I think “age-appropriate” has nothing to do with particulars, it’s all about the total package. If you’re worried at all, just make sure your hair, makeup and jewelry all showcase your best features, and everything will come together wonderfully. That Watters dress is gorgeous, and if you rock it, no one will care about the age. Have fun, be comfortable and be yourself! Age is nothing but a number, right? 😀

The only thing young about that dress is the model wearing it! Is she even legal? Sheesh. lol. Who cares what anyone else thinks anyways…wear what you feel beautiful in because that is what will make you will shine. I think that dress is fabulous! (And I’m 30 this May if that means anything. )

i think the shape of the dress is so classic and universally flattering- i don’t think you have anything to worry about!
