I’ve started shopping for dresses and I found one today that feels like it could be the one but I’d like some opinions. For context, we’re having a summer wedding in Telluride on top of a mountain.

Wow. That’s a beautiful and unique dress and fits you great. I say great choice for a mountaintop!

srancho : thank you so much! I had no one to dress shop with me so any opinion is so helpful.

Definitely a great summery, mountain top pattern/design! Do you have any pics of the front? The first pic makes it look like your shape is getting lost but the back looks awesome.

The shape of the dress looks great on you!! But I really don’t like the pattern with the weird chevron. Reminds me of a rug.

i agree that pattern-wise, it’s just seems off quite a bit. but the design and the length of the dress is perfect

It has a great boho vibe I like that it’s a little bit different. Not many people can pull off the horizontal stripes but you can! I say, go for it!

I would think when it is fitted properly and the straps aren’t hanging so low it will look great . I’d like to see a front-on view though .

Personally I don’t like chevron print and stripe dresses that I’m seeing lately. But the shape is cute on you. I think you can do better though.

I think it is a pretty dress and is very unique, but to me it is kind of meh. It is certainly on the right track in terms of tone and silhouette (and your figure looks fantstic in it!). Plus, I’m concerned that if you eat a piece of bread or your undergarments are not totally flat that the stripes will look all wonky.

You look gorgeous, as long as you’re comfortable and feel great that’s what’s most important. Make sure you look around and get exactly what you want, so you’ll still be happy at the wedding, and looking at the pics is years to come 🙂

I love chevron and love how the end of the train looks. But I don’t think chevron is timeless if that’s something that’s important to you. It looks really good from the back because the seam gives it a slight v and it gives you an incredible shape.

Gorgeous gown! I was also a mountain top wedding bride in Keystone and I would suggest making sure you can easily move in the gown. We had an amazing and super ambitious photographer and I did not expect to do as much hiking as we did. It was worth it for the pictures but it would had been easier if my gown was less structured than it was.

If it’s less than $800 i’d say go for it.

Oooo I really dig it! Very unique, sounds like it would suit your wedding location and the shape looks great on you!
