Have you tried contacting the bridal store you bought the dress from? If you bought your dress from a bridal store, most of them offer some kind of cleaning and preservation service. Also, doing a google search in your area might show a bunch of options.

One word of advice is to check out their terms and conditions. My friend got her gown cleaned/preserved and the terms stated that if she ever opened the box, then she would violate the contract and the company could not guarantee the cleaning. Kinda weird, right? So, she opened the box anyways and guess what? The gown was obviously not cleaned at all, and even had some new stains and pen marks that weren’t on the dress when she shipped it off. She was livid and turns out this company was scamming brides by taking their money and not cleaning the gowns at all. Moral of the story is, do some good research and get personal reccomendations.

@TwinkleToesJMU: can you tell us the name of the company your friend had such a bad experience with so we don’t use it??
