Your dress looked beautiful!!!! But I know that feeling – I actually think it comes from realizing you won’t wear another wedding dress again – mine was a trumpet and it was beautiful on me and I felt beautiful on my wedding day but now that it’s over there are other wedding dress styles I would love to have tried/worn … I just need like 15 more weddings to wear them all ๐Ÿ™‚ someone needs to bring back formal balls as a thing ๐Ÿ™‚

Struggling to see the justification for your regret. I look at that photo and see a beautiful, classy wedding dress with a perfect sweetheart neckline.

For sure there’s always someting better out there …same applies to husbands I suspect.

I am sorry your feeling dress regret, but WOWZA. You can totally tell in this dress you have an awesome body-and the neckline in my opinion is completely appropriate! I don’t think your showing to much clevage at all. I think that entire dress style on you is stuning, mabye to compensate for these feelings get some after wedding couple picks done and wear a sexier, va va voom dress??

With all due respect I think you’re being too  self critical. The dress is beautiful and you looked spectacular! Maybe you can have a vow renewal in a few years where you wear another dress that you really adore. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a beautiful dress and you look fantastic in it.

Purchase tickets to your regional museum gala and go buy yourself another fabulous dress to wear! Or start thinking about a black tie anniversary dinner party or vow renewal. You can always find a reason to wear a beautiful dress if you want to.

I have found my dress twin ๐Ÿ™‚ The dress looks amazing on you and you have done the same exact sweetheart alteration i am looking to have done. I don’t see why you have any regrets. The shape is flattering and I can definitely see how amazing your shape is in the dress.

PDXcat79:  Its really important to find a way to let go of this. The wedding is over. You’ll never have to wear the dress again. Focus on other things you have to look forward to in life. At the end of the day, it’s just a dress.

Honestly, I was given 2 free tickets to a brides against breast cancer charity event and went just for fun. Never had expectations of buying a dress just yet but was open minded. I knew deep down what i was looking for, so it would be an easy yes or no for me. I had simple requirements such as a light weight dress, ivory, lace but not overwhelming and no train if possible. I tried on 1 gown that was not the one, 2 I stared at and automatically knew they weren’t going to cut it and as I found another gown to try on, I spotted another bride to be in “the one”. I asked if she was planning on buying the gown, if not I was willing to try it on next. Keep in mind the dress is 4 sizes too big but after alterations are complete, I have no doubt it will be perfect. So in a nutshell, no bridal shops visited, 2 dresses tried on and 2nd being “the one”. Can’t complain after getting my maggie sottero for $160. Best deal I could’ve ever asked for. When it’s meant to be it really is.

I love the alterations you had done to the neck!  Its perfectly flattering without being revealing.  I adore the lace on the dress and the flower on the belt!  The train is amazingly romantic!  Do you like how you look in the pictures?  Are you happy with other aspects of the wedding?
