I shouldn’t be adding to your indecision, but my daughter wore the Allure C200 and it looked amazing!

annabanannas:  Do you have a picture of you in the Allure?  Based on the pictures, they appear to be very similar dresses–both lace with beading and a similar shape.  IMO, they don’t look different enough to warrant getting a new dress, and I don’t think the Allure looks more “WOW” than your original dress.  I actually prefer the lace of the original.  But if you feel really strongly, maybe you can sell the original.

Based off the pictures i like the first one because that’s the only one i can actually see you in. It’s really gorgeous on you.if you love the other one and you are always going to think of the other dress you may want to change dresses unless you could forget about it. this is why you don’t try on other dresses.

I know there are differences in the two…but they’re not seeming to be MAJOR. Maybe you should put your original one on and see how you like it? I went through this but it was because I wanted a lace fit and flare gown with sleeves or straps, and ended up with an A-line tulle gown in blush pink. :/ Haha

If you purchased this new one, would it even be in in time for your wedding? I read the other day that this is “busy season” for wedding dress shops/manufacturers/etc. Your wedding is in 7 months?

At the end of the day you have to be happy in what you wear. So your options are to just stay with what you have or buy a new gown. You can always sell your current one. I don’t know what your budget is like.

Honestly, if you hadn’t clarified, I would have thought they were the same dress. I don’t think it is worth getting another dress when it looks so similiar to the one you already have.

You look stunning in the Martina Liana. The Allure dress is definitely beautiful, and get it if you want (and can afford the loss you might take in reselling your ML dress)… however, (having had dress regret myself) I do feel like dresses are a bit like men – there may always be a better one out there, but at a certain point there’s enough to love about the one we have to stick with it ;-).

Oh, also, I think the first gown is stunning on you. The second kind of looks heavy.

I like the first dress much more. The lace os more delicate and the belt really pops!

It’s impossible to say based on these photos.

Wow! That allure is beautiful!!!! I also had a dress i had my eye on for months, tried it on, thought it was pretty amazing, everyone loved it, and the price was right. So i bought it, then a month later, found another dress online that I think I would love more. Because I’m not absolutely sold on the first dress, and didn’t get that “special feeling” everyone talks about, I ordered the second dress online, since it has a 30 day return policy. Just to be sure it doesn’t beat out the first dress (but I hope it will). It should arrive next week.

i don’t know if that “special feeling” you’re supposed to get when you find the one dress is real or not…plus my real dream dresses waaaaay more what these two dresses are so I’m limited in my budget.

I say say go for the second dress if that’s what you really want (and if you can afford it). Good luck!!!

annabanannas:  Nice name! I can’t really get a feel for comparing the two from the photos, but the first dress looks spectacular on you.

I like your original dress about a million times better than the allure one. You bought the first dress for a reason, so I would go with your gut and trust yourself. Best of luck!
