I also had a hard time finding the elusive ‘one’ dress…

If your wedding is in six months… I think you still have time to look if you aren’t sold on either dress. otherwise you may suffer later from dress regret…

But I like the second option on you more, if I had to choose. But I see your dilemna- if you are going more for grace kelly elegance- the first would go with it as well!

*I am not a fan of beading, and it appears as though both dresses may have some beading…

Tough choice Chicka! They both look great on you!!! But I am more swaying towards #2.

Is there a huge price difference that would sway you more towards one or the other?

One dress shop clerk told me, when I FINALLY narrowed it down to two dresses- she told me to go home, and picture in my head having purchased one of the dresses. And then she said ‘do you picture regretting the purchase and start thinking about the other dress???" I guess she was implying- if so then I should get the other gown…

Let us know which you decide!

Personally I really love dress #1. The cut and beading are so elegant and sophisticated, when you describe a Grace Kelly type of glamour I really see it in that dress. Dress #2 is certainly pretty but it’s a little bit too princess-y for my tastes. And when I see big pickup skirts I always think they’ll be a pain to walk around in. Anyway, I’m rambling — my vote is for #1! Good luck choosing =)…they’re both great dresses!

I think the whole "one" thing can create a lot of unnecessary anxiety. I too am quite analytical and very in-decisive.  For me, the dress I bought I could picture on the wedding day and the thought made me smile so I said okay.. I’m done. There was no crying just peace of mind to have finally made a decision. If I went to dress store tomorrow I would probably pick out a completely different dress! I just think there are so many possibilities and so many styles of weddings (each with their own dress) that I could thoroughly enjoy (e.g, an outdoor rustic one in a barn, a modern glass ballroom on top of a skyscraper, a monocromatic wedding in a loft, etc.) that how could I be so completely set on one dress? Does one pair of shoes you buy make you completely hate all the other ones or you feel it’s the only ones you could ever wear??  This is the dress you choose to wear on your wedding day not the only one you could ever wear. I don’t know if that makes sense.

One thing that helped me was to take video of me walking in the dress at the store.  From there it became less static pictures of me in various blankets of white and something more tangible that I could actually imagine.  Maybe you could try that? Like Sparkles above said, somebody told me to think about the two dresses and imagine taking the one home and see if I would be sad I was leaving the other one, and visa versa.

As far as Grace Kelly goes, I think #1 is more fitting for the theme and is just unique and spectacular.  That said, nobody’s opinion matters but you!!

Goodluck and let us know what you decide.

I like the first dress the best, more elegant Grace Kelly than the second princess bride, but I would say keep trying till your in love with "the dress".
