Well, I went dress shopping today and It was not like I expected it at all. We only went to two places and I think I have found a dress. CRAZY SHIT! Anyway, we went to David’s Bridal and Alfred Angelo. I figure we would hit up the big chain stores first.
David’s wasn’t bad…but I wasn’t impressed with the service. The sales rep knew one of my bridesmaids and she kind of just chilled after that. She didn’t help zip me up, clip me, or even lace me up! My Maid/Matron of Honor had to do it all. I had no help getting in or out of dresses.
The dresses were pretty fun! I did try on some tea lengths, and the only one I liked didn’t feel bridal enough. It was more like after party.
So here is a crazy recap with a ton of photos! (sorry dial up users!)
Waiting for our sales rep to get a room together…even though we were the first people there.
The first tea length. I didn’t like all of the lace.
I liked this but it felt more like a party dress than a wedding dress.
First full length. I really liked it.
Didn’t like David’s birdcage choices.
I actually liked this one a lot.
I couldn’t get that off fast enough
I liked the beading
And the back wasn’t too bad.
Mr. Tattoo was with us, because we both knew I wouldn’t find my dress at Davids.
All in all they have pretty dresses. I wish my sales rep helped me into some of them. Some could have been zipped or laced better, but oh well.
NEXT POST! I think I found my dress at Alfred Angelo!!!!
I’m so tired. I will upload those photos later! Anyway, go shopping! I’m a street size 16, but I had to put on dresses that were 20, and 22. I didn’t feel like it though.
