@ReynaF:  What is your budget?  The South Coast Plaza David’s Bridal is the best, in my opinion.  The Alfred Angelo in Huntington Beach/Westminster is definitely the best in the area.

If you want a more expensive gown, try Mary’s Bridal in Pasadena, The Dresser in Fullerton, and Mon Ami in Costa Mesa.  These all have excellent couture gowns.

blush in tustin is awesome if you’re on a budget. i think all their dresses are less than 5k. erin cole and the white dress in corona del mar if you have more $$ to spend =) I would not recommend david’s bridal.

I didn’t end up buying from them, but I stoppped by Lovella Bridal (the small location on Verdugo Rd) in Glendale and the lady who was helping me was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. They had a lot of Pronovias dresses… the other location may have had a bigger selection and might be fancier but I’m not sure. Pebbles Bridal in Woodland Hills definitely does not feel like a luxurious shopping experience but they had the best prices I saw on what I was looking at (pronovias and maggie sottero). I didn’t like the fabrics at David’s and the fitting room had pins on the floor (dangerous!) but there are a lot of locations and a lot of dresses to choose from.

I can’t give much advice for places to look if you’re looking for the fun shopping experience because I had to go alone so I didn’t seek out those types of places.

Ive visited The Dresser is Fullerton, but doesn’t have a huge selection. Mariposa in Anaheim has a much bigger selection. Where in “L.A.” are you going? That might help to narrow down your search. I’ve also visited Karoza Bridal in Glendale and IBEX in Downtown LA.

I bought my Disney collection dress from Alfred Angelo in Beverly Hills.
