This would NEVER work for my dress, but in her case, it turned out beautifully! I guess if you already know you can’t sell it for much, don’t think your daughter would want it, and don’t want to do TTD or Christening Gown, this would be the best thing to do.

My seamstress asked me twice if I’d be willing to come back and be part of a TV show that transforms wedding dresses into regular dresses.  But I can’t justify it.  I still plan on donating my dress to BABC.

What I really want to do – mainly because my close friend is gettting married in June in US and I can’t make it – is to have a combined girly bridey weekend at some point. So – all my friends can bring their wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, wedding guest dresses and we all go to one place together and hire a photogrpaher and take photos of all of us looking LUSH and best pals . That sounds silly but I llove the idea, as we can’t make it to eachothers big days 🙁
