I have always loved wearing tops with crochet details. It finally donned on me that I would love for my wedding dress to also have some crochet in it. I’m thinking the back or just upper back and the sleeves/straps. The problem is that I don’t seem to be able to find any inspiration photos for my vision.
Anyone have some crochet in their dress or know of a dress with a crocheted back?

I think it is definitely a unique way to do things! I googled an image for it, and it is really pretty. I don’t know the pattern or anything that you would like, and especially since you are having a Spring wedding next year, it would be great! Not too hot or too cold, and you are pretty much in the same area I am in (I’m in Riverside). So the weather here is always nice.
You should check out some of the designs by I want to say it is Alvina Valenta, if you like crochet/lace time patterns. She is awesome. I am a classic Claire Pettibone fan as well. They have some of the most gorgeous dresses at both sites.
As for me, when the time comes, I am gonna snatch me a Kenneth Pool. =D

Have you tried googling it? Etsy should have some beautiful choices…

My mom’s wedding dress had a crocheted top — hand-crocheted by my grandmother, actually! I don’t have a picture on my computer, but it was gorgeous and she looked like the perfect hippie bride.
