I think its FANTASTIC! Such a unique and fun dress. I wish I heard of replicas before I bought my dress because I would have got one.  Great job and you look lovely in it!

Which replica company did you use? And if you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay?

I think the dress you got is very pretty, but I have seen technically “better” replicas of the Aglaya dress.  But these replicas were about 900 USD.

@meticulouswind: Sure, the Agayla dress I’ve seen (and LOVED) is by Jasmine’s Bridal Shop. The link to their purchasing page is: http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/  I’m highly considering the Aglaya dress, by Jasmines.

BUT, you can see their actual dress work on their facebook here.  The Agayla dress they have done can be viewed here:

I think it was either 400 or 800.  With Jasmines, 400 will get you normal materials and a 2-5 year experience seamstress, and the 800 would get you designer lace and a 20+year experienced seamstress.

Let me know what you think about their replica!  I’m really considering Jasmine’s for my own dress.

Ps: I just noticed we have the same wedding date!  August 4th.  And If I get the Agayla dress we’ll have the same dress! haha.

@meticulouswind: those pics look much better. I think the biggest difference is that the original uses tulle on the skirt, and yours has organza. Other than that, the construction of your dress actually looks quite good!  Are you going to wear a veil?

@meticulouswind: Their replica is pretty spot-on if you ask me.  The original dress is around 12 grand USD, so for 800 its still a steal.

Your dress is actually really good too.  I think that for the price you paid, it is good.  It even looks better than most replica dresses you see.

Congrats on the good find!
