Im going to cut to the chase…. my wedding was all set to be held in my grandpa’s GORGEOUS garden on June 11. It was a small wedding for 40 (all immediate family only, followed by a garden reception. Unfortunately we buried him last week. Without going into the details, his wife has now decided that we could have the wedding there, but she can’t accomodate 40 people in her 1 acre+ backyard and two very large drive ways. I refuse to let her ruin my day so I moved my wedding to the only venue open in a 3 county area… the old townhall. Its ok, not the best not the worst, its managed by the park system even though its not in a park, so hey I spent a whole 45.00 on it! But now we are in a hall not a garden. I am not worried about decor… Ive got tons of ideas to make the place pretty. But its going to be an afternoon ceremony and reception. I want to provide background music, we were going to just let the ipod run on shuffle, should I be concerned about dancing? Any suggestions for alternatives to dancing?
