Mr. Meowerson is worried about not having entertainment for the wedding, and I definitely see his point. During cocktail hour, we are providing tickets for the carousel that is at our venue. After dinner we have dancing, but what else can we do? I suggested croquet, since our wedding is outside on grass and from 5-10, but he doesn’t like this idea. Anyone have any suggestions?

Me thinks he worries too much. People love to socialize at weddings. If they are not dancing they will be mixing and mingling with the other guests.

i do like photo booths, and how that is a fun activity for guests, but i’d like to do something a little different…

@julies1949: I agree. I don’t think guests really need to be entertained. You provide music and an opportunity to dance, if they don’t like that then they mingle. Thats what people do at weddings and they aren’t usually bored. There is usually lots of catching up between friends and family members.

I agree, dancing a mingling should be enough. My Fiance wants a contact juggler for the cocktail hour, but i think the guests will be entertained without it. I dont see why you cant have croquet just in case
