I have just asked 3 friends to be my bridesmaids and they have all accepted! Yay! Iaway us to go to a wedding fair and I am curious as to who usually pays for tickets; the bridemaids or me? I’m happy to pay but just wanted to get a better understanding.
Also this kind of poses another question in terms of finances? What am I as the bride expected to cover the cost of for the bridesmaids? Dresses I guess are a given but what about shoes? Hair and makeup? Accessories? We are also planning on getting martied in a hotel and myself the bridemaids and MOB will stay at the hotel the evening before; would I be expected to pay for the rooms?? I don’t want to seem stingy abd am happy to pay for what I should but I’m on a budget!! HELP!!

You should buy their tickets to the bridal show. They are going to support you, but chances are, a wedding fair is not their choice way to spend a Saturday.
As for other expenses, in the US, typically the bridesmaids pay for their own dresses (though before you decide on a dress, you should discuss budget with them).
The bride pays for shoes and accessories if she wants something very specific, and the bride pays for hair and makeup if she requires that the girls have it done professionally.
You don’t have to pay for accessories if you let them choose their own within general parameters (i.e. “silver jewelry” and “black shoes”), and you don’t have to pay for hair and makeup if they are free to do their own.
Bridesmaids are responsible for their own transportation and lodging costs.
ETA: I see now that you are in the UK; seems like I’ve read before on the bee that in the UK the bride usually buys the dresses.
