I got mason jars at Hobby Lobby for 65 cents each and we are going to fill each one with layers of blue colored candy and put a sticker or ribbon on them somewhere.  Most likely it will end up being about 1$ each.  Mason jars are always reusable which I love!  I’m the type that loves to get a favor, whether or not its cheesy.

I do love the idea of the lotto scratch though!

I went with glasses with our monogram from discountmugs.com with shipping and boxes they came to a little under $3. I’m going to bix them with a ribbon a sticker which with probable put them at about $3.50

It’s not very cheap but I wanted something I thought guest would enjoy take home and use again and again.’

I didnt really want edible because I think people eat them so quick they barely remeber the favor or the purpuse.

@bRooklynRocks:Goodness – thats good to know!  We actually have no idea.  We have a big store nearby called Moore Wilsons where you can buy bulk candy for really cheap and we figured we would borrow the containers, but now we might have to look into in more carefully.

My sister did jellybeans for her favor for each guest and hers ended up being around 80 cents per person but they were just bags already full whereas a candy buffet I guess some people may want more.

@ellabee: I LOVE the idea of sparklers!  They are inexpensive, and they WILL get taken/used. Perfect favors. 🙂

Our favor budget is $0.  We just didn’t think it was important.  Instead  we directed that money towards better food and more alcohol.

We got 40 little Nana Voodoo dolls for $1 each in JJ markets in Bangkok, they are really adorable and were the first thing we bought together for our wedding!

You can get them online too: http://www.nanavoodoo.com/cat.php?id_title=1&id_type=1&image=VM081

I just realised they look a bit odd in pictures but they are really sweet in real life 🙂

@japwedding:We are doing cds of our favorite songs…creating our own linear notes…for 125 guests we think it will run around $100. maybe more depending on what case we select. Might be cheesy but it should be a terrific blend of the music that moves us.
