I am planning on having chargers as favors for my guests at the reception. The charger will be stenciled with an ivory calla lily. Theyre gonna be a bit expensive, but I think worth it. When I brought them into the reception venue, the owner and decorator went wild for them.

@FutureMrsEAG: How are you letting your guests know it’s your favor?

I’m confused about these being favors – are you giving a set to each guest? Or does each guest take home their just own? I personally wouldn’t have any use for just 1 or 2 chargers.

I agree with @toshella:, I wouldn’t want 1 or 2 random chargers, they would probably go to waste, unfortunately.

It’s cute and all, but like toshella: said, I’d have no use for this and would either leave them on the table or probably pack them into my storage locker with the other “decorative” pieces I never use. I think for the cost, it’s not really a practical favor. Plus, how will people know they’re supposed to take them home? I’d think it was part of your decor.

I think guests might feel awkward carrying a single charger home, especially if food spills on it. I’m not a fan of chargers as favors

Yeah, you may want to rethink this. What would your guests do with them? I would definitely leave them on the table.
Also, wait staff is supposed to take the chargers off of the table when the main course is served, so what are they going to do—bring them back and reset the tables after dinner?
Since the owner and decorator loved them, maybe you can sell them to one of them after your wedding?

They’re really pretty, but I agree with all the other PPs. I wouldn’t use a single charger. Sorry 🙁

If you like them and think that your guests will enjoy them then go for it. Personally, I would have no use for 1 charger. Actually, I would have no use for a set of chargers since they’re not something that I ever use in my day to day life. I would almost certainly leave mine behind. You said that they’re expensive so I would suggest reconsidering and spending that money elsewhere. If your guests are anything like me, you may be left with a crap ton of chargers after your wedding.

It’s been said. It would be a waste of money to have one charger.

this may seem obvious…but is a charger just a small plate? what is it for? too lazy to google… those are a pretty color though!
They’re pretty but guests won’t take them home.
@flyingpiggy, they are a decorative item that goes underneath the plate and don’t serve any other purpose beyond making it look fancy. You can’t eat off of them at all.

LOL, forgive my ignorance, but i thought at first you meant like an iPhone charger that was personalized and i thought it was a super cool idea! 😛

If I received one ,I would probably use it for candles.Maybe you could market it as both,a charger for the wedding and a candle holder as a favor.
