I’m thinking of doing personalized playing cards for our favors. On our first date we ended up killing time in a bar playing “war” and I think it would be cute to incorporate that into our wedding. Does anyone have any suggestons for a saying to but with the cards?
Side note I think we might do one deck of cards per table and “Hugs and Kisses from the Mr. and Mrs” for everyone. Is that lame? I plan on order a few extra decks in case people want them.

I think that’s a great favor, but one per table is not really a favor…A favor is something everyone can have. people will just look at it oddly. I hope no one will be needing to “kill time” at your wedding. Do you want them to play cards during your reception?
“Hugs and Kisses from the Mr. and Mrs”

This dosn’t make much sense to have on a deck of cards

I’m doing playing cards too but decided to skip personalization.
1) I have 475 people invited. So not was way cheaper!
2) I didn’t want people looking at my face. Haha
I haven’t found a quote, but would love to find something. I’m planing on tying a sting with a little note with our names, date, and probably a message.

I guess I should have been more clear. We are giving everyone hugs and kisses (the candy).
Could we do one deck of cards per couple/four per table instead of one at each table? If we do this should one person get the candy and the other get the cards? I feel this way the candy person will be getting a lesser gift and that’s not fair.
I’m totally okay with the cards being used during the reception, most people invited aren’t dancers. If be happy if they’d stay and have fun playing cards.

hopefull2014: Maybe have a couple of sets out during cocktail hour? Depending on how long cocktail hour is, it might be fun. BUT it’s not a favor for everyone. But at least one or two people will probably take a deck home.
