- Wedding: May 2014
So, I am planning a black and white wedding that encorporates rainbow accents into the ceremony and reception. So far, I have a lot of whimsical, fun things planned for the wedding (chucks for the groomsmen, rainbow marble cake, mad libs guestbook) and I was having trouble coming up with an idea for wedding favors. Well, I found this template online and thought it was SO cute, I just don’t know if it would be a good enough wedding favor for everyone.
The template is for DIY pinwheels, which is perfect for incorporating my rainbow theme into it. Here is a picture of what they look like when put together…
I think they’re absolutely ADORABLE and super fun, and I would probably add the wedding info like our names and the date, along with the guest’s name onto the pinwheel, so that it was more like a keepsake favor. If I were to create them with high-quality scrapbook paper, would this be a good idea for a wedding favor? I am also worried about the cost because scrapbook paper can become costly, so it might be easier to find something online since favors sometimes can run only 1-2 dollars a piece. I just think something more personal would be a better idea for a favor. I only have 80 guests, so it wouldn’t be a TON of work.
What do you think? 🙂 Thanks Bees!
