I’ve been given free cell phone charging banks as corporate gifts & never used them. Unless it’s a favour people can eat, they will leave them behind. Even food they leave behind. We are having a candy station at our wedding. They are always a hit.

I think the charger favor is a waste of money. It’s kind of a neat gadget, but if I really wanted one, I’d just go out and buy the exact one that I want, you know? Not trying to rain on this particular idea; this is just how I feel about all favors, pretty much.

But — if you guys decide to go ahead with it, I would not put a cute phrase on it. There is no better way to render something useless to people than to inscribe it with your own wedding date!

arriaza415 :  I have a power bank I use a lot but it has 10 charges.  I wouldn’t bother with one charge ones. I really hope that you can convince him as wasting your money 🙁

I’m in the minority but I would take the water bottle and leave the charger box. I get those things everywhere and I never use them. I always have my own charger with me or in the car.

For either gift, I would prefer it blank and not personalized with names or dates.

A cute slogan might be okay

I would leave it blank. I don’t want anything with anyone elses wedding date on it. Sorry.

You could put your names and wedding date on a tag or on a giftbag around the charger, but I wouldn’t have it printed on the actual charger.
