Hello! I’m a week away from my wedding and, for the first time, completely stumped and out of ideas. Hoping someone here will be better at this than we are–
The game “Table Topics” is something really important to our family as dinner is one of the few times where we have a no-technology rule and catch up on our days (fiance and soon to be stepdaughter who is 11). We end every meal taking turns selecting a card and just having good conversation so…we decided to make the travel version our wedding favors. I can’t think of any cute wording to tie it all together though! I started with “They say the fondest memories are made gathered around the table” and then wanted to somehow tie in how we wanted to share our tradition with their family…but I’m not sure how to say that without writing a paragraph. Any ideas on a cute line or two to tie the idea together?

This isn’t very cutesy, but it might communicate your point.
We have gathered here today to celebrate (Bride’s name) and (Groom’s name), and we hope you will use these cards to gather around the table to create new memories as we have as well.

Our family unplugs from technology during dinner and we enjoy using “Table Topics” to create memorable conversations. We hope it creates lasting memories for your family as well.

Thank you both so much! Much better than anything I had been able to come up with over the last few weeks!

What about something that starts the way you mentioned and then thank your guests for helping you to create new and wonderful memories, and that you hope these cards help your cherished guests to create their own memories, not just from today, but every day.
