- Wedding: May 2017 - the garden house, seattle
we did a complicated non-edible favor* because we had a small wedding attended only by good friends and chosen family, we knew our crowd, and the meaning behind it was special. our people got it, and we didn’t have many left. each one included a little knitted heart sachet with lavender. they looked like this, only in blue variegated yarn. this is the first one i made, my test heart.
*i’d explain it, but i know how people feel about complicated non-edible favors.

We did Krispy Kreme donuts as favors. They gave us bags to put them in so we did two per bag and sealed it with a thank you sticker in our wedding colors I found at party city.

My friend did beer glasses and we use them all the time! We did succulents and candy bar. We had about 15 succulents left and the candy was popular.
ETA – Not a candy bar (like a milky way) but a table with candy you could help yourself to).

The last wedding I went to (a cousins) didn’t have any favors. They did have 1 photo frame of the bridal couple on each table and I think some people took that as the favors. I’m not doing them for my wedding. I think the money can be used for something else.

We are having an outdoor Texas Country (Chic) Wedding. We went with the usual Coozies. Fiance is a Captain and We are both into fishing as a hobby, so they say “Two Less Fish in the Sea” with two fish kissing. Hopefully since it is practical and will be placed by the bar, our guests won’t just skip them…
