mesmericze: Ooh wow, that will be beautiful. Has the venue given any suggestions / ideas based on what others have done? If I were going to a destination wedding it would be nice to get something that was a symbol / souvenir of something local or a reminder of your time there i.e beach themed etc.

I had a destination wedding on Catalina Island for 30 guests and Darling Husband and I brought tiny boxes of champaigne chocolates for the grown-ups and three giant lolipops for the kids. We took them on the ferry in a cooler with a gel pack so they wouldn’t melt. Not sure if that will work for your situation, though…

mesmericze:  I love the sound of the luggage tags and the anchors on those and the invites. I’d love to go to a sea theme / destination wedding, must be a lot of fun planning.

mesmericze: Ooh I like the colour of the first one but the sea shells of the second.

I agree with catylady. I love the first color but don’t like the pictures. I might steal the shell ones! I’m also having a destination wedding in Hawaii and doing the whole shell thing all over, including my master bedroom haha.

For the favors mone were focused on Valentine’s day so we had custom conversation hearts and they had our names and the location on them. in the welcome bags we had local rum in it though.

mesmericze:  St Lucia makes some really delicious local chocolate so maybe some of those? Local rum is always nice too!
