I gave these as favors.  They are parachute chord keychains.  I made these all the time when I was in Iraq.  We added jingle bells to them as we did a Christmas themes wedding and then added the saying “Everytime a bell rings, a magical moment it will bring”  Everyone rang the bells to get us to kiss!  I loved how they turned out and everyone at the wedding loved them too!!

This is tied to Mr. Mink’s work in the craft beer industry. A friend who works for a brewery did this as our wedding gift.

The art people made the label using the picture from our Save the Date. πŸ™‚

Here are ours. Fiance is a huge fisherman and everyone knows it!

Not completely polished up, but you get the idea. The tag says “Fell For Each Other Hook, Line and Sinker”

$5 is a great budget for favors! I’m looking at <$2 per favor! If I had $5 to spend, I’d get these double truffle boxes from our favorite chocolate shop:

@Mrs. Mink:  We are doing the same! Fiance works for a beer distribution company and they are going to give us the beer to do this! Plus, his/my future last name is Brewer! πŸ™‚

I did a sweet n salty snack buffet with cake pops, honey mustard pretzels, white chocolate pretzels, cheese straws, savory chex mix, white chocolate chex mix, and bags of caramel chex mix.  I think everything here cost me about $1.25 per guest (including the labels, bags, ingredients, etc)

I’m going to do wedding cookies.  I really haven’t looked into how I want to do them yet….  So something like these.  Maybe with color.  I’m making them (I’ll probably make 120).  And I have some chevron kraft bags to put them in and I’m going to seal them and then put a little cut out with our initials on them.

You get the idea.  Anyway, definitely under $1 each.  Probably about $0.75 each including the packaging.

ETA: Found another gorgeous one

@hmmtmar:  This is such an adorable favor that does’t break the bank. I would LOVE you on the ride home if I went to your wedding. πŸ™‚

I am going to do a candy buffet, but I also got light up LED chamapagne glasses! I thought they were perfect for NYE. I am going to have them on flashing mode when all the guests walk into the room for the first time. SO excited!
