So, I think I want to have favors but part of me thinks that when youre buying dinner and drinks for 150 people, maybe favors aren’t a huge deal? I myself am an avid baker with a small cupcake business so I was thinking individual cupcakes would be nice. However, then i realized, I dont need to be baking and packaging 150 cupcakes the week before my wedding! So thats out. My next plan is to use the laser etcher that I have (totally ok-ed) access to at work to engrave something. First thought: wine glasses! We live in an area where there are a ton of wineries who give glasses after tastings so almost everyone I know has at least a few of these that they keep for regular wine drinking after work! We have a cute monogram with our initials.
Here’s the question: wine glasses, yay or nay? monogram, with or without date? shoudl I have 150 glasses or less (or more?!)

If you want to take the time to engrave all of those glasses, I think that sounds like a great, and useable, favor! I would definitely do the wedding date. People will want to remember where the glass came from. I would make sure to have a glass for every adult attending. Maybe a couple extra, but I don’t think I’d worry about that too much.

I don’t see why you couldn’t bake and package the cupcakes a couple weeks in advance, and then freeze them?
I bake and do wedding cakes a lot, and there’s no probLen freezing cupcakes/cakes, even if they are already iced or covered in fondant.
I would package them all individually, then put them all in a box, and wrap the box with plastic wrap several times, and maybe a layer of tin-foil, and then put it in a deep freezer.
Jist remember to let them come to room temperature (completely) before removing them from the box.
