Hey Bees
So im in a bit of a dimlemma we are trying to do an amazing wedding but on a budget, the one blow out we did was our venue so other things are getting the flick. one thing i have always said i wasnt worried about having was favours for our guests. So instead we organised a photobooth as like a thank you that will have our names and wedding date on it. I guess its their keepsake but also for a bit of fun at the wedding.
Am I being too cheap by not doing a little favour at everyones table? im starting to stress out 🙁

Photobooths are a great option and guests really enjoy them! You’ll be fine.

Perhaps have a little note thanking each of them and also explaining the photo booth? Or you could get some cheap photo frames or fridge magnet frames in your wedding colours they could put the photobooth photos in.
While I think it is nice to have something at the tables, it is certainly not necessary!

Most favours are a complete waste of money. Don’t give it another thought.

We’re doing a photobooth too (it’s also serving as our guest book: extra pics will be printed to glue into a scrapbook).
We’re also having koozies made with our names and the date. Can get 200 of them with shipping and tax for less than $170. Totallyweddingkoozies.com I think? something like that

rrweddingday15: It’s your wedding, and you can do whatever you want. Seriously.
Originally, I crossed off favors for our wedding because I wasn’t able to find something that I liked (functional and looked good) for my 200+ guests. Plus, I already blew my budget when we decided on the venue and photographer (they took up almost 45% of our budget). But I got stumbled across this online deal, and I ended up cutting some costs of centerpieces and ordered the cute drinking glasses for $1.50/each. So… my guests are getting wedding favors now 🙂

rrweddingday15: Don’t overthink Favors….most guest forget them or never use them. A Photobooth is perfect because it’s about them and you….. I can’t tell you how many shot glasses or koozies I have from someones wedding sitting in a drawer.

I’m only having favours because we realised we could fit them in the budget after all and we finally found something we liked. We weren’t going to have them originally. Don’t stress over it. I really don’t think they are necessary.

rrweddingday15: Don’t do the favors. I agree that many people don’t take them with. The photo booth is a perfect idea!

Don’t even worry. Nobody will miss them if they are having fun.

If you are worried you could always do something simple like sugared almonds wrapped with organza or tulle?
